It Never Hurts to Mask: Group C Playoffs is the eighth episode of the third season of the popular reality TV show, The Masked Singer. The show features celebrities who perform anonymously while wearing elaborate costumes that hide their identity. The panel of judges and the audience have to guess who is behind the mask, and each week one contestant is unmasked and eliminated from the competition.

In this episode, the Group C Playoffs continue with a set of new performances by four masked celebrities: Astronaut, Night Angel, T-Rex, and Rhino. The episode starts with a group performance of "Shout" by Tears for Fears, featuring all the remaining contestants.

Then, the first contender to take the stage is the Astronaut, who sings "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. The judges are impressed with the performance, and there are some clues that suggest the Astronaut could be a former boy band member. However, they are not entirely sure who it is.

Next up is the Night Angel, who performs "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles. The judges are blown away by the Night Angel's voice and stage presence. They get some new clues that indicate the Night Angel has a connection to the music industry and might be a legendary diva.

The T-Rex is the third contestant to perform, singing "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" by A.R. Rahman and The Pussycat Dolls. The judges are entertained by the T-Rex's energy and dance moves, but they still cannot figure out who is behind the mask. There are some hints that suggest the T-Rex is a young performer with a background in dance.

Finally, it is the Rhino's turn, who sings "Die a Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett. The Rhino's heartfelt performance impresses the judges, who speculate that he could be a country singer or a former athlete. The Rhino's clue package also includes a reference to a near-death experience that left him with a renewed appreciation for life.

After the performances, the judges have to vote for their favorite contestant of the night. They pick the Night Angel as the winner of the Group C Playoffs, sending her straight to the Super Nine. The other three contestants have to face the Masked Singer's trademark elimination game, with the T-Rex and the Rhino moving on to the Smackdown round.

In the Smackdown, the T-Rex and the Rhino perform "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" by Shawn Mendes, but it is the Rhino who gets to stay in the competition, while the T-Rex is unmasked and revealed to be a popular YouTuber.

Overall, It Never Hurts to Mask: Group C Playoffs is an exciting episode that features some impressive performances and surprising reveals. The Masked Singer's formula of combining music, mystery, and celebrity antics continues to be a winning one, and fans of the show are sure to enjoy this latest installment.
