Ep 2. Strange Magic

In The Messengers season 1 episode 2, titled "Strange Magic," the five newly appointed messengers continue to struggle with their newfound powers and their connection to one another. As they try to escape the lab, they are pursued by Dr. Holloway's men, who are determined to capture Koa. In the chaos, Raul, the undercover agent, is shot and critically injured. The group is devastated, but they know that they must continue their mission. They take Koa into their care, and they begin to train her in how to control her powers.

As the episode comes to a close, the group is reunited with Raul, who has miraculously survived his injuries. They realize that they must work together if they are going to stop the apocalypse, and they begin to form a bond that goes beyond their individual powers.
