In episode 2 of The Name of the Rose, tensions continue to rise as the monastery is plagued by a series of gruesome deaths. Brother William, played by John Turturro, and his novice sidekick Adso, played by Damian Hardung, are determined to uncover the truth behind the murders, but find themselves met with resistance and suspicion from the other monks who are more concerned with protecting their own interests.
As the investigation deepens, Brother William and Adso begin to piece together a complex web of lies, deceit, and corruption that seems to stretch all the way to the highest levels of the Catholic Church. With time running out, they must race against the clock to catch the killer before they strike again.
Meanwhile, tensions between the Franciscans and the Dominicans come to a head, as both sides struggle to gain control of the monastery and the secrets it holds. Brother William finds himself caught in the middle of this power struggle, as he strives to remain impartial and uncover the truth no matter where it leads.
As the mystery unfolds and the body count rises, the stakes are higher than ever for Brother William and Adso. Will they be able to solve the case before it's too late, or will the killer strike again and claim even more lives? Tune in to find out in episode 2 of The Name of the Rose.
