Ep 3. Open Water

Christine struggles with her ex-husband Richard taking their son Ritchie on a vacation to a remote cabin. Despite feeling anxious about the trip, Christine puts on a brave face and encourages Ritchie to have fun with his dad. Meanwhile, Christine's brother Matthew and his friend build a huge aquarium in the living room, much to her displeasure. Christine debates whether or not to confront Matthew about the aquarium, but ultimately decides to let it go. The episode culminates in a terrifying moment when Christine receives a panicked call from Ritchie, who has gotten lost in a dense forest while hiking with his dad. Christine's anxiety reaches a fever pitch as she frantically tries to guide Richard in finding their way back to safety. In the end, everyone returns home safely, but Christine's nerves are left frayed and she promises herself that she'll never be so nonchalant about her son's well-being again.
