Ryan, Seth and Summer may have discovered why the perpetually upbeat Chris Brown (guest star Michael Cassidy) is so cheerfully accepting of his girlfriend's new beau, but once they actually break the news to him, it's anything but happy when he goes on a bender and winds up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Kirsten gets a surprise visit from an old friend, and Julie and Kaitlin's new catering business is a booming success, but it's a socialite client with a take-no-prisoners attitude that may end up putting them out of business before it ever really gets started. Elsewhere, Sandy's plan to go into business with Matt hits an ethical snag.
