The Servant: The Untold Story of Bang-Ja is a film based on the classic Korean love triangle traditionally known as Chun-Hyang. In this story, a servant and his master both fall in love with a geisha, Chun-Hyang. It is a drama written and directed by Dae-woo Kim. The setting is feudal 18th century Korea, where one could get arrested for courting someone out of their caste. This movie has some nudity as it depicts the story Bang-Ja, the servant of Lee Myong Ryong whose father is a government official. Ryong promises Hyang that when he becomes a government official he will return to town to marry her which would improve her social caste. However his servant Bang Ja complicates matters when he falls in love with Hyang.
