Watch It's Me or the Dog

It's Me Or The Dog is a television show about pets, their owners and the challenges they go through together. In each episode there is a problem to be corrected. The dog has some behavioral issues that the owner doesn't know how to correctly manage or won't manage.

After you are introduced to the pet and owners in an episode, the dog trainer will enter the scene. The dog trainer in this show is Victoria Stillwell. She comes along side the family to help them. First she observes the dog and the owners for a few days to get a good feel for the issues that are occurring. After she has a good understanding of what is happening the next phase of the show begins.

Victoria then begins to teach the family how to deal with their problem pet. Victoria believes in positive reinforcement to use to help the dog behave. After she has instructed them, she leaves them alone with their dog for a few days.

But they aren't really alone. There are cameras recording the owners and dogs to see how they are interacting and if they are following the rules. After a time period has passed, dog trainer Victoria Stillwell returns to evaluate the owners and dog to see how they did. Did they follow the rules? Did they remember all they were taught?

Victoria will tell them where they did well and where they went off course, making final corrections to help them face a more positive future together, the goal of her intervention.
