In The Strongest Man In History season 1 episode 4, named "Strongmen Go West," the four historical strongmen, Eddie Hall, Robert Oberst, Nick Best, and Brian Shaw, take on the Wild West and attempt some of the most challenging feats of strength and endurance the frontier was known for.

The episode begins with the group traveling to Arizona to take on a challenge that has never been completed before - pulling a train. The strongmen are tasked with pulling a 40-ton locomotive loaded with freight for a distance of 60 feet. The team has only two days to train and prepare before the big day.

To prepare, the strongmen begin pulling weighted sleds to build up their strength and endurance. They also work on their technique, trying to find the best way to distribute their weight and use their legs to create the most power.

After two days of intense training, the strongmen begin their attempt to pull the train. The challenge proves to be incredibly difficult, with the train barely moving at the beginning. However, the strongmen push through, digging deep and summoning all of their strength to complete the feat. The tension is high, and the crowd is cheering them on, making for an exciting and nail-biting watch.

Next, the strongmen travel to California to take on another iconic Wild West challenge - the anvil lift. The group attempts to lift a 200-pound anvil over their heads, a feat that was commonly performed by blacksmiths during the time.

The strongmen begin by lifting smaller anvils to warm up and build their strength. However, the 200-pound anvil proves to be much more challenging than they anticipated. They struggle to even get it off the ground, let alone lift it above their heads.

Despite the difficulties, the strongmen persevere, and after many attempts and some coaching from a local blacksmith, they begin to make progress. Once they get the technique down, the strongmen are able to lift the 200-pound anvil with ease, creating an impressive and awe-inspiring spectacle.

The episode concludes with another challenge - the one-hand deadlift. The strongmen attempt to lift a 300-pound dumbbell with just one hand, a challenging feat that requires not only strength but also proper technique and balance.

The strongmen begin by lifting lighter weights to warm up and prepare their grip. They then move on to the 300-pound dumbbell, and the challenge proves to be just as difficult as they anticipated.

The strongmen summon all of their strength and use proper technique to complete the challenge, impressing not only the onlookers but also themselves with their incredible levels of strength and determination.

Overall, episode 4 of The Strongest Man In History is a thrilling and exciting watch for fans of fitness, strength, and history. The strongmen show off their incredible levels of strength and endurance as they take on some of the most challenging feats of the Wild West.
