With the help of her new friends and a powerful warrior named Rakushun, Yoko must learn to fight and defend herself against these creatures if she hopes to survive in this new world.

Throughout the episode, we see Yoko grappling with the weight of her new responsibilities and the fear that she may never be able to return home. We also see glimpses of the vast, fantastical world of the Twelve Kingdoms, complete with its own complex political and social hierarchies.
