Ep 1. Pilot

Wade Felton had a perfect life, with his wife and daughters. However, he lost his wife a year ago to cancer, which has been a difficult time for him and his girls, Grace and Natalie. As he tries to move on with his life, he realizes that it isn't easy to do it alone. As his friends try to set him up and encourage him to move on, he realizes that it's not easy to find someone who can relate to his experience. One day, Wade discovers the world of dating apps, and after being encouraged by his friend, he tries one out called Fancy. To his surprise, he finds someone who understands him and his situation, his own unicorn. Despite being hesitant initially, he decides to take a chance and go on a date with her.

The episode continues with Wade looking forward to his date with his unicorn. He even goes shopping with his friend for a new outfit - something he hasn't done in years.
