After losing his wife, Wade Felton (played by Walton Goggins) finds himself thrown into the dating scene once again, with the help of his friends and two daughters. In episode 9 of The Unicorn season 1, titled "No Pressure," Wade tries to balance his relationship with Shannon (played by Natalie Zea) with his responsibilities as a father.

As the episode begins, Wade and Shannon are growing closer and beginning to talk about their future together. However, Wade's daughter Grace (played by Ruby Jay) is less than thrilled about the prospect of having a new woman in her father's life. Grace puts pressure on Wade, making him feel guilty about seeing Shannon instead of spending time with the family.

To make matters worse, Wade's other daughter, Natalie (played by Makenzie Moss), is struggling with the pressures of school and her social life. Wade tries to help Natalie by offering advice and support, but his own personal life is getting in the way. When Natalie confronts her father about this, Wade is forced to evaluate the balance of his life and determine how he can be there for his children while also pursuing his own happiness.

Meanwhile, Wade's friends are also dealing with their own issues. Forrest (played by Rob Corddry) is struggling to connect with his wife, and Delia (played by Michaela Watkins) is feeling pressure to take her relationship with her boyfriend to the next level.

As the episode progresses, Wade realizes that he needs to set boundaries with his daughters and make it clear that he still loves them and wants to be a part of their lives, but that he also deserves to pursue his own happiness. He also realizes that he needs to have an open and honest conversation with Shannon about their future together.

Throughout the episode, there are several heartfelt and emotional moments as the characters navigate the complexities of their lives. The show does an excellent job of balancing humor with serious topics, and the performances by the cast are top-notch.

Overall, "No Pressure" is a standout episode of The Unicorn season 1, showcasing the show's ability to tackle complex and emotional issues with sensitivity and wit. The episode is a testament to the power of family and friendship, and it will leave viewers feeling both uplifted and moved.
