Ep 21. Isobel

In The Vampire Diaries season 1 episode 21 titled "Isobel," the plot intensifies as Isobel, Alaric's wife and Elena's biological mother, returns to Mystic Falls. Isobel, who was presumed to be dead for years, has a secret plan, which she shared with her former professor and mentor, Damon Salvatore.
