The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Episode 11 By the Light of the Moon

Katherine's mind games have all the Mystic Falls residents on edge as they scramble to decipher her next move. Stefan and Damon almost come to blows while Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie struggle to find a possible way to break the spell that Katherine has cast over Caroline.

Tyler learns more about his family's curse from Mason, while Matt, feeling weak and powerless, decides to give Caroline Elena's vervain necklace in order to keep her safe.

In the midst of all of this, the full moon rises and brings with it the danger of werewolves. Tyler is forced to confront his family's curse head on as he transforms into a wolf in front of Caroline, and Stefan and Damon work together to try and save Tyler from hurting anyone.

Meanwhile, Caroline's abduction by Katherine takes a dangerous turn, leaving Elena, Bonnie and Jeremy to work together to save their friend before it's too late.

Throughout the episode, the characters are faced with difficult choices as they try to protect each other and stay alive in the face of supernatural dangers. The tension is high as everyone anxiously awaits the outcome of the moon's passing, wondering what will happen next in their fight against Katherine.
