Ep 4. Service

In The Walking Dead season 7 episode 4, titled "Service," the focus is on Negan's arrival at Alexandria. After the harrowing events of the season premiere, the residents of Alexandria are understandably on edge, particularly as they have no idea what to expect from the new group of Saviors who now hold power over them.

As Negan and his entourage pull up to the gates of the community, the mood is tense. Rick and the other leaders of Alexandria gather to greet him, but it's clear that they are in a very tenuous position. Negan wastes no time establishing his dominance, taunting the residents and making it clear that he expects to be given whatever he wants.

There are moments of humor and moments of tension as the Saviors begin to make themselves at home in Alexandria, taking whatever they want and generally behaving like the worst kind of houseguests.

Meanwhile, outside the walls of the community, other characters are dealing with their own struggles. Carl, who was last seen killing a number of Saviors in an attempt to avenge his fallen friends, spends much of the episode wandering around on his own. He encounters a stranger who he initially tries to help, but who ends up taking advantage of his kindness.

Another major focus of the episode is on Michonne, who is still reeling from the loss of her friend and lover, Glenn. She embarks on her own journey of sorts, walking out into the wilderness and going through her own internal struggle as she tries to figure out how to live in this brutal new world.

Overall, "Service" is a tense, emotional episode that explores the aftermath of some of the most traumatic events of the series to date. As always with The Walking Dead, there are moments of violence and gore, but there are also quieter, more meditative moments that allow the characters to reflect on their experiences and come to terms with what has happened. Whether you're a diehard fan of the show or just getting started, "Service" is an episode that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.
