Three Sheets is a travelogue series that follows comedian and writer Zane Lamprey as he travels around the world exploring different types of alcoholic drinks consumed by the locals. In this episode, Zane travels to Wales, a country in the United Kingdom famous for its rolling hills, ancient castles, and rich history.

Zane starts his journey by visiting the Penderyn Distillery, where he learns about the production process of Penderyn whiskey, which is unique to Wales. He also meets with local distillers to try different types of Welsh whiskey, such as the Brecon Special Reserve and the Welsh Dragon, a fiery, spicy whiskey that incorporates dragon peppers.

Next, Zane travels to Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. Here, he explores the nightlife scene, starting with a local pub crawl with a group of rugby fans. He visits different pubs and bars, trying local beers such as Brains Dark, a classic Welsh beer with a rich, malty taste, and SA Gold, a refreshing, hoppy ale.

Zane also visits the iconic Millennium Stadium, where he tries a traditional Welsh pre-match drink called "Brains and Brawn," which is a combination of beer and lamb broth. He even gets to try on the Welsh rugby team's iconic red jersey and joins in singing the Welsh national anthem.

Aside from drinking, Zane also learns about Welsh cuisine. He visits a local market to try traditional Welsh food, such as laverbread, a type of seaweed that is often served with bacon and eggs, and Welsh cakes, a sweet, buttery snack often enjoyed with tea.

Zane also explores the outdoors in Wales, taking a scenic train ride through the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. He meets with a local mountaineer, who takes him on a hike to the summit of Pen-y-Fan, the highest peak in South Wales. At the summit, Zane celebrates with a shot of Welsh whiskey.

Throughout the episode, Zane also provides glimpses into Welsh culture and history, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Caerphilly Castle and the Tintern Abbey, a ruined medieval monastery that dates back to the 12th century.

Overall, Three Sheets season 1 episode 3 "Wales" provides viewers with an entertaining and educational glimpse into Welsh culture, exploring its drinks, food, nightlife, and outdoor scenery, all while celebrating Wales' rich history and traditions.
