Pisco is a type of brandy made from grapes and is often mixed with lime juice, sugar, and egg whites to make a cocktail called a pisco sour. Zane meets with a pisco expert who teaches him about the different types of pisco and the best ways to enjoy them. Zane also gets to try a traditional Chilean drink called cola de mono, which is made from pisco, milk, and coffee.

After exploring the drinking culture in Santiago, Zane travels to the Atacama Desert in the north of Chile. There, he meets with a group of locals who introduce him to a traditional Andean drink called chicha. Chicha is a fermented drink made from corn that dates back to Inca times. Zane gets to help make the chicha and then tastes the finished product, which he describes as "the happiest drink in the world."

Zane's journey continues to the south of Chile, where he visits a region called the Lake District. This area is known for its craft breweries, and Zane gets to try beers that use local ingredients like raspberries, blueberries, and honey. Zane also learns about a unique way of pouring beer in Chile called the "chuflay," which involves mixing beer with a sweet fruit soda.

Finally, Zane travels to the island of Chiloé, where he learns about a traditional drink called licor de oro. Licor de oro is made from fermented potatoes and has a distinct sweet and earthy flavor. He also gets to try a drink that's only made on Chiloé called curanto, which is a hearty stew made with shellfish, meat, and vegetables that's cooked underground.

Throughout the episode, Zane also explores the local food culture of Chile, trying dishes like empanadas, ceviche, and seafood stew. He also visits different bars and restaurants, getting a feel for the nightlife and social scene in each place he goes.
