In Treme season 3 episode 2, titled "Saints," we are taken deeper into the lives of the characters we've grown to love in this show set in post-Katrina New Orleans. The episode opens with Delmond Lambreaux, a successful musician from New York City who grew up in the Treme neighborhood, returning home to record a new album. Delmond is excited to be back in New Orleans and reconnect with his roots, but he is also nervous about how his music will be received by the community he left behind.

Meanwhile, we see Alderman Desiree Baptiste struggling to keep the peace in her neighborhood. She becomes increasingly frustrated with the lack of support from the city for her community, which is still struggling to recover from the storm. Desiree's son, David, is also having a tough time. He's just been released from prison and is struggling to find work and stay out of trouble.

Elsewhere in the episode, we see Davis McAlary, a local musician and radio DJ, working on a new project to highlight the city's unique musical heritage. He is joined by a group of musicians who are all passionate about preserving the culture of New Orleans.

As the episode progresses, tension mounts in the community and we see the characters struggle to balance their personal lives with their commitment to their city and its people. Despite the challenges they face, they remain steadfast in their dedication to New Orleans and the cultural traditions that make it such a special place.

Overall, "Saints" is a powerful and moving episode that captures the unique spirit of post-Katrina New Orleans. With its rich characters and compelling storylines, Treme continues to be one of the most engaging and thought-provoking shows on television.
