The television show Trot Lovers is a series from South Korea. This show stars Jung En-ju, Ji Hyunwoo, Shin Sung-rok, and Lee See-young. The show follows the journey of a young girl as she tries to become a well known singer. Her name is Choi Choon Hee. Her music is old fashioned, from the time that the trot was popular. Her mother used to sing this type of music. Since her mother died she has been working to support her aging father and younger sister. She got the talent from her mother but has to find the time so she can practice singing. She enlists the help of a songwriter and a music producer to help get her music out to the public and get people into the trot once again. They are determined to stop at nothing until they make Choi a star. Each episode features her music and her next adventure to becoming famous.
