Tsuyokiss is a romantic comedy anime that aired from July to September in 2006 on AT-X. The story revolves around the life of a young girl named Sunao Konoe, who wants to have a peaceful life like any other typical high school girl out there. Sunao Konoe is a transfer student to the Aikyo School for Girls. Upon her arrival, she meets three childhood friends and fellow students in the same class, Kiriya Erika, Itsuki Nozomu, and Nami Aoi. The four girls belong to the Handicrafts Club in their school, which leads them to team up and compete in various events and challenges.

The main plot of the anime centers on Sunao's journey as she navigates her way around the different challenges and difficulties she encounters while getting to know her classmates and trying to adapt to the new environment she finds herself in. Along the way, Sunao discovers that life in Aikyo School is not as easy as she thought it would be, especially with the pressure from her schoolmates that she needs to get involved in different activities.

At the beginning of the show, Sunao starts developing feelings for Kiriya, the current student council president in Aikyo School. Kiriya is a talented and popular girl in school, and Sunao admires her for her excellent leadership skills and work ethic. Kiriya also develops a soft spot for Sunao as she notices her unique abilities and skills, which she feels would be beneficial to the school.

In the show, Sunao meets other students in the school, like Tenma Aoi, Nami's older brother, who has a reputation for being a playboy. He's also a part of the Swimming Club in school, and the girls couldn't help but notice how handsome he is. There's also Ran-sensei, a new art teacher assigned to their school, who happens to be Kiriya's childhood friend. Like most of the cast, Ran-sensei develops a keen interest in Sunao, making the show even more interesting.

Throughout the series, viewers get a glimpse of the friendly competitions Sunao and her friends participate in as they try to emerge victorious against other schools in various competitions. There's also the antics of Tenma Aoi's behavior, which draws in various ladies, which causes some romantic tension between Sunao and Kiriya. What makes Tsuyokiss stand out is its romance, coupled with an exciting story that captures the audience's full attention.

The animation style is simplistic yet charming, delivering a smooth visual experience that leaves viewers pleased with each episode's delivery. The atmosphere created in the show captures the school's vibrant life, and the soundtrack is phenomenal, with music that suits the mood of each scene perfectly. Overall, Tsuyokiss is a show that delivers everything it promises, with its vivid storytelling, enjoyable characters, and a remarkable soundtrack, making it a great watch for anime lovers who love romance and comedy.

In conclusion, Tsuyokiss is an excellent and entertaining anime show, which provides a good romance story at its core, serving as an excellent source of entertainment for viewers.
