Ep 3. Zero Arm

In the third episode of Valkyrie Drive -Mermaid-, titled "Zero Arm", we see a glimpse into the life of the main protagonist, Mamori Tokonome, as she struggles to come to terms with her new identity as a "Liberator" and learn more about the mysterious island that she finds herself trapped on.

Back at the tower, Mirei and Lady J engage in a heated discussion about the nature of the island and the powers that the Liberator and Exter girls possess. Lady J reveals that the island was created as a means of researching these powers, and that the Liberator-Exter system was specifically designed to bring out the full potential of these abilities.

As the conversation continues, Mamori is suddenly attacked by Zero, who has infiltrated the tower. Mamori is no match for Zero's armor, and despite Mirei's valiant efforts, both girls are ultimately captured. Zero reveals that she has been sent by a mysterious organization known as Welter, who are seeking to steal the Liberator-Exter system for their own purposes.

The episode ends with Mamori and Mirei being taken to Welter's headquarters, leaving the rest of the Liberator and Exter girls to ponder their next move and strengthen their own powers in preparation for the inevitable showdown.

Overall, "Zero Arm" serves as an exciting and action-packed installment in the series, further fleshing out the world and characters that were established in the previous episodes.
