The episode opens with the Paladins of Voltron, Princess Allura, and her advisor Coran recovering from the defeat of Prince Lotor and his army of Galra. The Paladins are hesitant to trust the Blade of Marmora, considering their past experiences with the Galra Empire. However, they realize that they share a common enemy and decide to work together. With their new allies, the Paladins are able to track down and confront the rogue Galra group, but they soon discover that their biggest challenge may be convincing the Blade of Marmora to work with them for the greater good.
