Right here, right now #8 is the eighth episode of the first season of the American-Italian television series We Are Who We Are. The series revolves around two American teenagers, Fraser and Caitlin, who live on a US military base in Italy, as they explore friendship, identity, and sexuality.

In this episode, the tension between Fraser and his father, Richard, increases as their differences come to a head. Meanwhile, Sarah and Maggie try to console Caitlin after the loss of her newly found friend. And as the Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, the tension between them and the Italian locals reaches a boiling point.

Fraser is grappling with his emotions after kissing his roommate, Jonathan, in the previous episode. He seeks solace from his father, who is also struggling with his own personal issues. Richard, who is a Colonel in the US military, has become disillusioned with the bureaucracy and politics of the military. He is also having marital issues with his wife, Jenny, leading him to drinking heavily and engaging in multiple extramarital affairs.

The tension between Fraser and Richard comes to a head when Fraser confronts his father about his behavior. Richard becomes defensive and attempts to justify his actions, leading to a heated argument that leaves both parties emotionally drained.

On the other hand, Caitlin is dealing with the loss of her friend, Britney, who died in a car accident while driving under the influence of drugs. Sarah, Caitlin’s mother, and Maggie, a family friend, try to console Caitlin and help her through her grief. However, Caitlin continues to act out and push them away.

Thanksgiving is a major celebration in America, and the Americans on the base organize a feast to celebrate. However, tensions between them and the Italian locals reach a boiling point as they accuse the Americans of being cultural imperialists and refusing to assimilate to Italian culture. This culminates in a physical altercation that leaves both parties injured.

Overall, Right here, right now #8 is a tense and emotionally charged episode that explores themes of family, friendship, cultural differences, and grief. It also delves further into the complex relationships between the characters, paving the way for further character development in the later episodes.
