Ep 12. Catfished

Web of Lies season 3 episode 12, "Catfished," tells the story of Anne and Michael, two individuals who fall in love online and plan to meet in person. The private investigator discovers that Michael is not who he says he is and that he has been lying about his name, age, and even his appearance. In fact, Michael is actually a man in his 20s, not his 40s, and has been using fake pictures to deceive Anne.

Anne is devastated by this revelation and feels foolish for falling for Michael's lies. She shares her story with others to spread awareness about the dangers of online dating and the importance of being cautious when getting involved with someone online.
