According to the FBI crime clock, every twenty-six seconds a violent crime happened somewhere in America during 2012. So many people are touched by the aftermath of a violent crime, including the host of Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall. She brings her journalistic background as well as her compassion for victims and their families to the show. After ten years the murder of her older sister remains unsolved. Each episode recreates the story of a murder and the subsequent investigation. Actual police interrogation footage coupled with investigator commentary breathes each case to life. Throughout the show, Tamron is joined by fellow investigative journalists and law enforcement experts to help explain the one question we all have: Why? In one episode, the story of two men found murdered within a month of each other in different areas along the California-Oregon border is told.
