Ep 4. The Danger Within

Bea Smith is back at Wentworth after being taken away to a hospital for stab wounds. Kaz Proctor is the new top dog at Wentworth, having garnered a lot of support during the hospital escape and the subsequent riot. But while Kaz may have taken over the top spot, she is not without her enemies. At the start of Episode 4 of Wentworth, "The Danger Within," we find Kaz and her crew preparing to face off against some of her former allies who have now turned against her.

Meanwhile, Vera is still struggling to come to terms with her past and her relationship with Governor Ferguson, who is still very much in power. Vera is also dealing with the aftermath of the riot, which saw many of the prisoners injured or killed, and she feels a deep sense of guilt for not being able to prevent it.

Naturally, tensions are running high at Wentworth. Everyone is on edge, wondering who might turn on them next, who might be the next target. And it's in this atmosphere of uncertainty that Boomer, one of the prisoners, discovers that she might be in danger.

Boomer is a big personality at Wentworth, and her presence is often felt around the prison. But when she overhears something that could put her life at risk, she becomes paranoid and starts to act crazy. She threatens other prisoners and demands protection.

Bea Smith, who has been avoiding Kaz and her crew, gets a chance to confront them. She could use the information she has to her advantage, but she decides to take a different approach. Bea joins forces with Kaz and together they hatch a plot to get rid of the real threat to their lives.

"The Danger Within" is an intense and suspenseful episode of Wentworth that explores the theme of loyalty and betrayal. It asks us to question the motives of everyone involved and to wonder what lengths people will go to protect themselves. It's a haunting reminder that in a world where danger lurks around every corner, sometimes the most dangerous person is the one you thought you could trust.
