Ep 3. Nothing But The Truth

In Wentworth season 5 episode 3 titled "Nothing But The Truth," the aftermath of the siege on the prison continues to unfold as the inmates and guards deal with the consequences of their actions. With Governor Bennett now dead, a new interim governor, Derek Channing, arrives at the prison to take control.

Meanwhile, Kaz Proctor continues to lead the charge for justice as she works to bring down corrupt officer Will Jackson and his accomplices. She turns to Allie Novak for help, who is still reeling from the loss of Bea Smith and struggling with her addiction to drugs.

As the two women work together to gather evidence against Will, they uncover disturbing truths about some of the other guards and the prison system as a whole. But their efforts put them both in danger, and they must choose between seeking justice and protecting themselves.

Elsewhere in the prison, Vera Bennett is forced to confront her own role in the events that led up to the siege. She must deal with the fact that her decision to keep Kaz in isolation may have been a contributing factor to the violence that ensued.

Meanwhile, Franky Doyle continues to struggle with her newfound freedom and her feelings for her old flame, Bridget Westfall. Bridget tries to help Franky adjust to life outside of prison, but Franky's past may come back to haunt her and threaten her chances of staying out of jail for good.

As tensions rise and alliances are tested, the inmates and guards of Wentworth must come together to protect themselves from the dangers both within and outside the prison walls.
