Elizabeth has been called to serve on the school board, and her first task is to try and convince Jack's mom to let the children go to school. It's not an easy task, as Jack's mom is a fiercely protective mother who doesn't trust anyone who isn't a member of her family. However, Elizabeth is determined to make a difference in Hope Valley, and she won't give up until she's able to get the children into the school.
