As they search deep in the bush, they come across an abandoned leopard cub who is in desperate need of help. They know they need to act fast to save him and enlists the help of Caroline, who runs the local animal sanctuary.

As the various plotlines converge, we see Danny and Alice struggling to navigate their complicated feelings towards each other. It becomes clear that they both have a lot of unresolved feelings and the situation is becoming unsustainable. However, just as they're trying to figure things out, they receive an urgent message from Rosie who is stranded in the bush with the mother and baby elephant.

The family comes together to mount a rescue operation, enlisting the help of the local community to save the animals. As they work together, we see the family begin to reconnect and heal some of the wounds that have been festering since Sarah's death. As the episode draws to a close, we see Danny making steps towards moving forward from his grief, and Rosie and the rest of the family seem to be getting back on track.
