Ep 10. Baby Cupid

In Wizards Of Waverly Place season 2 episode 10 titled "Baby Cupid," Justin is still disappointed that he didn't go through the family wizard competition while Alex remains the family wizard. Meanwhile, Alex gets her hands on a little boy's diaper who is the child of a new neighbor in the building. After putting a spell on the diaper to keep it clean, the spell affects Cupid's arrows as well, turning them into dirty and smelly objects. This in turn causes people hit by the arrows to fall deeply in love with almost everyone and everything else.

Alex uses the opportunity to play cupid and pairs up Harper with their neighbor Zeke, who has a huge crush on Harper but has never expressed his feelings. However, things get a bit complicated when Cupid himself goes down and forgets his arrows that will be picked up by one of Alex's best friends Gigi. The whole thing threatens to expose the wizarding world to the mortals as Cupid still has not escaped from the apartment building.

Alex and Justin make separate attempts to locate Cupid and avoid the mortal world from figuring out their secret. However, Justin's immature actions towards Alex make the whole situation worse. Desiree, their cousin, also appears in the episode, and she struggles to find a longsleeve that matches her dress.

Cupid realizes that his arrows got mixed up with the dirty diaper and sends out the clean ones to reverse the effects of the spell. Alex goes into the bathroom and cleans the ones that Cupid left behind before the magic runs out. Cupid, wanting to thank Alex for all her help, hits her with one of his clean arrows, but she is not affected and the episode ends with a cliffhanger.

With a fun premise and hilarious twists, this episode is a perfect representation of the witty and absurd humor that the show is known for. It brings together all the main themes of the show, including wizardry, love, family, and character development.
