Ep 6. Maddy Cool!

Maddy Cool! is the sixth episode of the first season of the supernatural drama series Wolfblood. Set in the fictional Northumbrian village of Stoneybridge, the show explores the lives of a group of teenagers who are also Wolfbloods - humans with werewolf-like abilities.

In this episode, we see Maddy Smith (played by Aimee Kelly) trying to balance her school life with her Wolfblood instincts. She is struggling to come up with a topic for her art project when Shannon Kelly (played by Louisa Connolly-Burnham) suggests that she should do something about Wolfbloods. But Shannon then goes on to accidentally spill some paint on her, and Maddy accidentally reacts by turning into her wolf-form. Shannon's reaction is to scream, and Maddy, feeling embarrassed and upset, runs off into the woods.

Meanwhile, Rhydian Morris (played by Bobby Lockwood), who is also a Wolfblood, is being teased by Jimi (played by Jonathan Raggett), who is one of the school bullies. Rhydian, who is unable to control his Wolfblood instincts, transforms into his wolf-form and chases Jimi, who runs away in terror. Rhydian, however, is caught by Mr. Jeffries, the school's headmaster, who is also a Wolfblood, and who understands Rhydian's plight. Mr. Jeffries gives him some advice on how he can learn to control his wolf-form.

Whilst Maddy is running through the woods, she comes across a boy named Tom (played by Kedar Williams-Stirling), who also turns out to be a Wolfblood. Tom tells Maddy of a secret place he knows where they can run free without being judged by humans. Maddy is hesitant to join Tom's pack at first, but eventually, she agrees to go with him and meets the other Wolfbloods in his pack. They are having a great time, running around and playing with each other, but suddenly everything changes.

A pack of wild dogs attack the group, and Maddy and Tom manage to flee. Maddy realizes that they need help, so she calls upon Rhydian to help them deal with the wild dogs. Meanwhile, Shannon and her friend Tom (played by Nahom Kassa) have followed Maddy into the woods, and Shannon, seeing Maddy and Rhydian running in their wolf-forms, is both shocked and fascinated.

In the end, Maddy, Rhydian, and Shannon come up with a plan to deal with the wild dogs. They create a diversion by throwing some food for the dogs to eat, and then they make a run for it. Maddy, Rhydian, Tom, and Shannon are back at school the next day, reflecting on the events of the previous night.

Maddy realizes that although humans and Wolfbloods are different, they can still coexist peacefully, and that it's important to accept who you are and embrace your inner wolf. Meanwhile, Shannon has a newfound appreciation for Maddy, who she now sees as someone extraordinary.
