Monday Night Raw is the flagship show of WWE, featuring the biggest superstars of professional wrestling showcasing their skills in high-octane action. The March 4, 2013 episode, titled WWE Monday Night Raw - March 4, 2013, promises to be an explosive affair with a host of exciting matches and segments lined up.

The show kicks off with a recap of last week's events, where John Cena made his shocking return after recovering from an injury. Cena addressed the WWE universe and announced his intention to go after the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 29. The current champion, The Rock, also made an appearance and engaged in a verbal battle with Cena, setting the stage for their highly anticipated rematch.

The first match of the night is a tag team match pitting Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) against The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil and Darren Young). Team Hell No has been one of the most dominant tag teams in WWE history, having held the Tag Team Championship for a record 245 days. The Prime Time Players, on the other hand, are looking to make a statement and prove that they are a force to be reckoned with. The match is a back-and-forth affair with both teams getting their fair share of offense in. However, in the end, it's Team Hell No who emerges victorious after hitting their signature move, the Chokeslam/Running Knee, on Darren Young.

Next up is a singles match between Brodus Clay and Damien Sandow. Sandow, who is known for his intellectual gimmick and condescending attitude, has been looking to prove his superiority over the "fun-loving" Brodus Clay. The match is a physical one with both superstars utilizing their size and strength to their advantage. However, it's Sandow who gets the upper hand after hitting his finisher, the You're Welcome, on Clay for the pinfall victory.

The highlight of the night comes next as The Rock makes his way to the ring for a promo. The WWE Champion addresses John Cena's challenge and talks about his journey to becoming the biggest movie star in the world. He also taunts Cena, claiming that he would never be at his level. Cena interrupts and makes his way to the ring to confront The Rock. The two engage in a heated exchange, with Cena vowing to take the WWE Championship away from The Rock at WrestleMania 29. The segment ends with The Rock hitting Cena with a Rock Bottom, sending a clear message that he is not to be taken lightly.

The third match of the night is a singles match between Antonio Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio. Cesaro, who is known for his strength and technical ability, has been on a losing streak as of late and is looking to turn his fortunes around. Del Rio, on the other hand, is a former WWE Champion and is looking to climb his way back up the ladder. The match is a hard-hitting one with both superstars delivering some impressive moves. It's Del Rio, however, who comes out on top after locking in his submission move, the Cross Armbreaker, forcing Cesaro to tap out.

The next segment is a backstage interview with CM Punk, who has been out of action due to an injury. Punk talks about his rehabilitation process and vows to return stronger than ever. He also addresses John Cena's challenge to The Rock, claiming that he should be the one main-eventing WrestleMania 29.

The final match of the night is the main event, a six-man tag team match between The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns) and Sheamus, Randy Orton, and Big Show. The Shield has been wreaking havoc on WWE ever since their debut and has been unstoppable in their quest for dominance. Sheamus, Orton, and Big Show, however, are looking to put a stop to their reign of terror. The match is chaotic with all six superstars going all-out. However, it's The Shield who emerges victorious after hitting their finishing move, the Triple Powerbomb, on Sheamus for the pinfall victory.

Overall, the March 4, 2013 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was a thrilling affair, featuring some of the biggest names in professional wrestling showcasing their skills in exciting matches and segments. The build-up to WrestleMania 29 was in full swing, with John Cena, The Rock, and CM Punk all making their presence felt. The Shield continued to assert their dominance, setting the stage for some epic clashes in the future.
