The situation becomes even more tense when Red Claw and his warriors finally catch up with Yakari and his family, and a fierce fight ensues.

Despite the danger, Yakari and his allies are able to stay one step ahead of Red Claw and his warriors. With the help of his animal friends and his own resourcefulness, Yakari is able to safely reunite the young bison calf with its mother and make it back home in one piece.
