Ep 21. Secret of the Rainbow Pearls

In Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon season 1 episode 21, titled "Secret of the Rainbow Pearls", the story continues with the three princesses traveling through different eras to pursue the Shikon Jewel fragments. Their journey leads them to Dragonfly territory where they face a new threat.

The Dragonfly demon tribe is in possession of four mystical rainbow pearls which are said to grant immense power to whoever wields them. The princesses learn that the pearls have been passed down through generations within the Dragonfly tribe, and it is believed that whoever possesses all four pearls can summon the Great Rainbow Dragon, the protector of the demon race.

As they reach the border, the princesses are confronted by Kyuki, the Dragonfly princess, who challenges them to a fight. Kyuki proclaims that the pearls belong to her tribe and deems the princesses as intruders. Despite Towa's attempts to reason with Kyuki, she refuses to listen and a battle ensues.

During the fight, Moroha recognizes Kyuki's weapon as the one promised to her by her demon hunter master, who wanted her to retrieve the sword from the Dragonfly demon tribe. Moroha tries to reason with Kyuki to turn over the weapon without causing any more fights. However, Kyuki claims the weapon belongs to her and damages it during the battle.

Meanwhile, a group of humans led by the sorcerer, Hyoga, attacks the Dragonfly tribe for the pearls. Hyoga believes that the pearls will grant him the power to control all demons and become the ultimate ruler of the land. This leads to a conflict between the humans and the demons, with the princesses caught in the middle.

As the battle intensifies, an unexpected ally appears to help the princesses. The group recognizes the newcomer as a demon slayer who they had met earlier on their journey. The demon slayer reveals that he had promised to protect the Dragonfly tribe in exchange for information on the rainbow pearls.

With the demon slayer's help, the group tries to defuse the situation and prevent further violence. The three princesses and the demon slayer confront Hyoga and urge him to stop his crusade for power before it's too late. However, Hyoga remains stubborn and insists on continuing his quest for the pearls.

The episode ends with the princesses and the demon slayer banding together to protect the Dragonfly tribe and the rainbow pearls from Hyoga's army. As the battle rages on, the princesses and their new ally face their own challenges and discovery new revelations about themselves as they seek to uncover the secrets of these mystical pearls.
