Ep 1. Welcome to the Newpocalypse

In Z Nation season 5 episode 1, titled "Welcome to the Newpocalypse," we are re-introduced to our beloved group of survivors in the midst of a chaotic new world. The episode opens with the aftermath of a nuclear explosion, which has left the landscape desolate and dangerous. Throughout the episode, we also get glimpses into the personal lives and struggles of our main characters. We see Murphy coping with the aftermath of his transformation and struggling to reconcile it with his humanity. Warren grapples with her role as a leader in this new world and the weight of making decisions that could determine the fate of humanity. Doc's compassion and desire for connection with others is highlighted, and 10K continues to prove himself as a skilled survivor, but we also see the toll their experiences have taken on them.
