Zoids Chaotic Century Season 1 Episode 44 Assault of the Mega Monster

[Opening credits roll]

The episode starts with Van and his friends travelling on their hover-board vehicles through a dense forest. Van spots something in the distance and goes to investigate. He encounters a massive monster made of a combination of different Zoids, which are controlled by a team of two pilots. The monster attacks Van and his friends, and a battle ensues.

Meanwhile, Dr. D and Hiltz are monitoring the situation from their base. They control the monster and order it to destroy Van and his friends. As the battle continues, the monster's pilots, Jack and Dorothy, reveal that they have their own reasons for participating in the attack.

Van and his friends attempt to fight back, but the monster proves to be too powerful. They are forced to retreat and regroup. With the help of Thomas and Fiona, Van comes up with a plan to take down the monster.

The team splits up, with Van and Fiona distracting the monster's pilots, while Thomas and Irvine attempt to destroy the monster's power source. The plan seems to be working, but just as they are about to succeed, Hiltz intervenes.

Hiltz realizes that the monster is about to lose and decides to take matters into his own hands. He activates a self-destruct mechanism, causing the monster to explode and creating a massive shockwave. Van and his friends are caught in the blast and it seems like they might not make it out alive.
