After arriving at the Entertainment District, Tanjiro and his comrades infiltrate the Houses where Uzui's wives, Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru, work. While undercover, Inosuke hears that Makio has been shutting herself away from everyone in her room.

After visiting the Rengoku residence to deliver Kyojuro's last message, Tanjiro spends his days training and completing missions. He returns to the Butterfly Mansion one day to find Aoi and Naho being forced into a mission and offers to go in their place.
