Watch Game of Death
Game of Death is a film that came out in the year 2010. It was directed by Giorgio Serafini and featured Wesley Snipes. The movie is an action film and therefore is in a certain genre that is popular in certain circles. The movie was written by Jim Agnew and Megan Brown. Wesley Snipes decided to join with Abel Ferrara who was the director of Bad Lieutenant. However Ferrara decided to quit and work on another project called Jekyll and Hyde. The movie also included Gary Daniels who participated in the Expendables.
As far as the plot goes, it is in a flashback form. A CIA agent named Marcus Jones discusses his final mission. He talks to a Catholic Priest about his latest mission. At the beginning of the mission, Jones’s mentor tells him that his assignment is to obtain information about the prosecution of an arms dealer and a hedge fund manager who are also American citizens. Jones goes to the Redvale building and gets $100 million. However he and his mentor are attacked and eventually kill the attackers. They also discover that the other people with them were traitors who were also after the $100 million.
Jones then takes Smith to a local hospital to get treatment after Smith suffers a heart attack. While this happens, the traitors in the CIA go into the hospital and begin murdering the hospital staff. At the hospital Jones is knocked out and Smith is captured. The traitors get the $100 million. Towards the end of the film, Redvale decides to allow the killers to keep the money and then kill them several years down the road in the future. After regaining consciousness Jones eliminates the traitors and escapes with $25 million. In the end, Jones leaves the church after giving a confession and leaves the $25 million behind for the priest to have.
While this may have seemed to be a decent movie, it got very negative reviews. In fact less than 20% of critics believed that this was a quality movie. Since this is an action movie, it has a limited audience and these movies are not highly regarded by critics in the first place. The movie was short, had decent pacing but the storyline was not very deep and that is why it got mediocre reviews. For action film fans this is a decent movie but overall it is one of the more mediocre ones of the year.
