Ep 12. Little Brother / Ocarina

Little Brother / Ocarina is the twelfth episode of Season 7 of the animated television show Adventure Time with Finn and Jake. The episode is divided into two different stories that don't necessarily intertwine.

In the first story, Little Brother, Finn and Jake decide to go on a picnic, but things don't go as planned when BMO, their video game console, tags along. Jake warns Finn about the dangers of messing with time, but Finn is too curious to listen. Finn decides to use the Ocarina to jump back in time and correct some of his previous mistakes. However, as Finn continues to use the Ocarina, his actions begin to have unintended consequences, causing the fabric of time and space to unravel.

The two stories in this episode explore different themes and ideas. The first story, Little Brother, deals with sibling rivalry and the annoyance of dealing with younger siblings. Finn and Jake's frustration with BMO's behavior is relatable to anyone who has ever had to deal with a younger sibling. Meanwhile, the second story, Ocarina, delves into the concept of time travel and the consequences that come with meddling with it. Finn's recklessness with the Ocarina serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of trying to change the past.
