Ep 3. Corto Maltese

Oliver Queen, aka the Arrow, receives a surprise visit from an unexpected guest: Thea, his half-sister whom he believed died in a tragic accident. After learning that Thea has been training with his arch-nemesis Malcolm Merlyn, Oliver becomes suspicious of her true motives. In an effort to keep an eye on her, he decides to accompany her on a mission to Corto Maltese, a small island nation where they hope to find Thea's estranged father.

Meanwhile, back in Starling City, Laurel Lance has taken up the mantle of the Black Canary and is on a personal mission to avenge her sister's death. With the help of her ex-boyfriend, detective Quentin Lance, she sets her sights on a Serbian gun-runner named Brick, who has been terrorizing the city's Glades district.

As Oliver and Thea make their way to Corto Maltese, they encounter some unexpected obstacles in the form of a group of highly trained mercenaries hired by Malcolm Merlyn. After a intense battle, Oliver manages to get the upper hand and extract the information he needs to move forward with finding Thea's father.

Upon arriving in Corto Maltese, Oliver and Thea are greeted by a woman named Taiana, who claims to have information about Thea's father. However, their meeting is cut short when they are ambushed by a group of armed men. As they attempt to unravel the truth, they are once again attacked by a group of mercenaries, but this time they may have met their match.
