Ep 3. A Fixer of Sorts

In "A Fixer of Sorts," the third episode of Banshee's third season, Lucas Hood's quest for justice takes him to New York City. Hood, the show's central character, is still the sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania, but his old friend Job has convinced him to consult for a wealthy businessman named Leo Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick, who is being targeted by an unknown enemy, is willing to pay top dollar for Lucas' help.

The episode opens with a tense scene in which one of Fitzpatrick's associates is assassinated in a crowded Times Square subway station. The killer, a skilled hitman known as "The Dentist," is able to slip away undetected. Fitzpatrick is shaken by the attack and clearly needs Lucas' help to solve the mystery.

Lucas is initially hesitant to take on the job, but Job argues that he needs the money to support his efforts to locate his missing sister. As the pair begins to dig into the case, they soon discover that Fitzpatrick's problems are far more complicated than they first appeared.

One of the key players in the drama is a woman named Rebecca Bowman, who was introduced in the show's previous season. Rebecca is a young Amish woman who left her strict religious community to live with her uncle, the local gangster Kai Proctor. Rebecca's relationship with Proctor is complicated, to say the least, and she has been grappling with her own moral compass since leaving her Amish roots behind.

In "A Fixer of Sorts," Rebecca finds herself in the middle of the mystery surrounding Fitzpatrick. She has been hired as Fitzpatrick's personal assistant, and as such, she has access to sensitive information that could help Lucas and Job solve the case. But she is torn between her allegiance to her employer and her own sense of right and wrong.

As the episode unfolds, Lucas and Job uncover a web of corruption, deceit, and violence that stretches from New York City to Banshee and beyond. The Dentist is a formidable foe, and Lucas realizes that he will need to bring all of his skills to bear if he hopes to bring the killer to justice.

Meanwhile, back in Banshee, tensions are running high as Kai Proctor faces a power struggle within his own criminal organization. Proctor's nephew, Calvin, is challenging his authority, and the two men are on the brink of a violent showdown.

As always, Banshee delivers plenty of action, suspense, and gritty realism in "A Fixer of Sorts." Fans of the show will not be disappointed by this episode's twists and turns, which set the stage for even more explosive developments in the coming weeks.
