Ep 12. Cutting the Cord

Cutting the Cord is the twelfth episode of the sixth season of the beloved coming-of-age sitcom Boy Meets World. The episode centers around Eric (Will Friedle), who is faced with the difficult decision of moving out of his family's home and into his own apartment.

At the beginning of the episode, Eric is feeling suffocated by his living situation at home. He feels like he has outgrown the family dynamic and is ready to strike out on his own. In the midst of all this emotional turmoil, Shawn (Rider Strong) decides to surprise Cory and Topanga with a weekend getaway to rekindle their romance. But things do not go as planned, and the couple's problems come to a head during their trip.

Back at home, Eric is in the process of moving out when he realizes that he has forgotten his favorite childhood stuffed animal, Mr. Feeny. He breaks down in tears, feeling like he is leaving a part of himself behind in his childhood home. His family rallies around him, offering their support and love.

In the end, Eric decides to go through with his move and starts a new chapter in his life. Cory and Topanga are able to work through their problems and rediscover their love for each other. And Shawn learns the importance of communication in relationships and vows to be a better friend to those he loves.

Cutting the Cord is a poignant and heartfelt episode that explores the difficulties of growing up and moving on. It tugs at the heartstrings while also providing some much-needed laughs and comedic relief. Fans of Boy Meets World will not want to miss this emotional and memorable installment.
