Ep 13. The Set Up

In Parks & Recreation season 2 episode 13, titled "The Set Up," Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) is determined to set up Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones) with a new boyfriend. After Ann's breakup with her ex-boyfriend Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt), Leslie believes it's time for Ann to move on and find someone new.

Ann tries to be polite and give everyone a chance, but she quickly realizes that she's not interested in any of the men at the party.

Meanwhile, Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe) and Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) are stuck in an elevator together. Neither of them are thrilled about being trapped in such a small space with each other, but as the hours go by, they start to bond over their shared love of meat and woodworking. Chris and Ron's odd friendship proves to be one of the highlights of the episode.

Back at the party, Ann is feeling discouraged and ready to leave, but then she meets a new guy. His name is Chris, and he's a little different than the other men at the party. He's kind, genuine, and interested in getting to know Ann for who she is. Ann is pleasantly surprised by Chris, and the two of them hit it off.

As the night comes to a close, Leslie and Tom are pleased with themselves for setting Ann up with Chris. They didn't agree on everything, but in the end, it all worked out. Ann has found a new boyfriend, and Leslie and Tom are happy to have brought them together.

Overall, "The Set Up" is a fun and lighthearted episode that showcases the strong bonds between the characters on Parks & Recreation.
