Ep 12. Dual Spires

In Psych season 5 episode 12, titled "Dual Spires," Shawn and Gus are invited to attend the Cinnamon Festival in the small, eerie town of Dual Spires, where a young girl's murder has just been discovered. Upon arriving in the town, Shawn and Gus quickly realize that the residents of Dual Spires are all a little odd and seem to be hiding something. They are welcomed warmly by the town's sheriff and the owner of the local diner, but tensions run high among the other locals.

As they investigate the murder, Shawn and Gus find themselves in some bizarre situations, including a strange dream sequence that involves dancing cinnamon sticks and a surreal game show. They also discover that the victim was not who she appeared to be and that there are a number of suspects with potential motives to kill her.

The episode is full of references to the cult classic TV show Twin Peaks, with many of its actors appearing in the episode, including Sherilyn Fenn, who plays the owner of the diner. The town of Dual Spires is also a nod to Twin Peaks, which took place in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington.
