Ep 21. Tempest (1)

As Clark and his friends gear up for their high school prom, it becomes clear that something strange is happening in Smallville. The skies are darkening, the temperature is dropping rapidly, and a massive tornado is rapidly approaching the town.

As the tornado strikes, Clark's parents are trapped at the farm, Lana is trapped at the Talon, and Chloe and Pete are caught in the school's basement. Clark must use his powers to save everyone he can, but when he discovers that his father has been abducted by Lionel Luthor, he must decide whether to risk everything to save him.

Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is holed up in the underground level of the Luthor Corp building, fighting for his life after being poisoned by his father. As the storm rages on, Lex must confront his deepest fears and face the reality of his relationship with his father.

As the episode comes to a close, Clark must use every ounce of his strength to prevent the tornado from destroying Smallville, while Lex discovers a devastating secret that puts him on a collision course with his father.
