Ep 3. Code of Honor

On this episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, titled "Code of Honor," the crew of the Enterprise is tasked with retrieving a vaccine from a planet in the Ligonian system. Upon arriving on the planet, the away team is greeted by the Ligonians, a society with a strict code of honor and a complex social hierarchy.

The Ligonians' complex and strict code of honor provides a stark contrast to the values held by the Enterprise crew, particularly as they witness the brutal punishments meted out for perceived offenses.
