Ep 10. Are You There God? It's Me, Dean

In The Venture Bros. season 1 episode 10, titled "Are You There God? It's Me, Dean," the Venture family finds themselves in the midst of a crisis when Hank cannot fall asleep. After trying several tactics, including storytelling and hot milk, Hank seeks the help of his mother, who suggests he pray to God for a good night's sleep.

As the night wears on, strange things begin to happen around the Venture compound, including lightning strikes, power outages, and a visit from a mysterious figure in a hooded robe. The family begins to suspect that something supernatural is at play and turns to their ally, Brock Samson, for assistance.

Brock, an experienced hunter of the occult, sets out to investigate and discovers that a group of Satanists have taken up residence nearby. The Satanists, led by a charismatic and disturbed leader, have been using their dark powers to torment the Ventures and their neighbors.

In the climactic final act, the Ventures join forces with Brock and engage in a battle with the Satanists. The fight is intense and violent, with both sides suffering casualties. But in the end, the Ventures emerge victorious, and Hank finally falls asleep, thanks to a little divine intervention.

"Are You There God? It's Me, Dean" is a satirical commentary on religion and faith, as well as a thrilling adventure story. It showcases the strength and resilience of the Venture family and their allies in the face of evil, and explores the complexities of the human experience through the eyes of its teenage protagonists.
