The series follows the surreal adventures of ex-superhero Harvey T. Birdman. He now works as an attorney in a firm staffed by other Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters from the 1960s and 1970s. The opposing counsel are frequently old enemies from his past. The cases often involve darkly humorous takes on famous and beloved cartoon characters, and all of is clients are also from the same era of animated television. Each episode features a different familiar face, including big names like Scooby-Doo, the Jetsons, and even the Flintstones.

Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law Full Episode Guide

  • In the series finale, the Birdteam pulls Harvey out of a drunken depression after all 38 of his cases must be retried. Later, Nitron, a level five villain with no weaknesses, terrorizes the city.

  • Harvey duplicates himself so he can serve as both a juror and lawyer on a case. Elsewhere, Potamus attends support groups after claiming to be sexually harassed.

  • A life coach puts evildoer X through a four-step program to improve his wickedness. Elsewhere, a kid gets set to sue over one of Devlin's toys.

  • X kidnaps Birdgirl because he feels that Harvey is ignoring him.

  • Tragedy strikes Sebbin and Sebbin, and Peter Potimus is eager to make the most of it. Meanwhile, Birdgirl investigates the "disappearance" of her father whilst Reducto is asked to babysit Peanut and Avenger.

  • Peter eats a gamma isotope by accident, and becomes a creature driven by rage, pursued by an investigative Phil. Peter is believed to be normal, and he must let the world think that he IS normal...until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within him.

  • The genie Shazzan is released from his vase by (Master) Peanut, who helps him in a case against his original captor: Mufti the Mizwa of Muzzy Tah. Meanwhile, Avenger speaks!

  • When Harvey Birdman heads to the local copying service to get some paperwork copied so that he can complete one of the things he needs for an upcoming court appearance, he inadvertently insults the worker at the store, which causes him to swear revenge on him. Elliott, the Deadly Duplicator decides to make many clones of Harvey in order to ruin his reputation, though when the clones get along in a charming fashion, Elliott starts to lose his cool and he proceeds to clone many different individuals.

  • Sebben and Sebben always forces its new employees to watch a film describing the history of the organization and some of the more important factors of business. In this episode, Phil Ken Sebben is shown as a young lad and it explains some of the things he did before he founded Sebben and Sebben, though later, many of the firm's employees speak to the camera about business practices and various other elements typical to Sebben and Sebben.

  • Melvin Peebles is upset because he has been sued by an animal rights group, though to make matters worse, the same group has broken into his pet store and they've kidnapped Magilla Gorilla in an attempt to take him back to the wild. Harvey must try to do what he can to win the trial after he takes the case on Mr. Peebles behalf, though he must also keep his eyes open for information as to where Magilla Gorilla is being held at.

  • Captain Caveman just wants a great education for his son, Cavey Jr., though the local school refuses to teach evolution in the schoolroom. Harvey decides to take the job in order to force the school to teach evolution through winning the case, though he soon realizes that he'll need to try to explain the existence of Captain Caveman and his son before such would be possible. Meanwhile, Reducto's cryptic comments force Harvey to question his own existence, as there aren't other winged humans in the world.

  • Harvey Birdman has always been impressed with many of the luxuries that Potamus has in his office, as he's one of the more successful lawyers in the firm. When he finally is invited to get into a hot tub that Potamus has, he unfortunately creates the proper circumstances that causes him and several of his colleagues to get sucked into a void that he had opened, in which they appear in prehistoric times. Now, the four of them must do what they can in order to escape from their fate and get back to the present, though the dangers of the past prove to be more abundant than they realized.

  • Robert Osborne, host of Turner Classic Movies, decides to show the viewers a classic, newly discovered episode of the original Birdman series. In this episode, Phil Ken Sebben, who was then Falcon Seven, orders Birdman to go around stopping many of the villains that normally appear in the courtroom, as they were supervillains in the past.

  • Morocco Mole is being held at Guantanamo Bay as he has been accused of being a terrorist, in which Harvey is assigned as his defense attorney and he must work to try to prove his innocence. However, when Phil Ken Sebben brings his daughter to work, she attempts to become Birdgirl in order to join up with Harvey and his defense team, though Phil Ken Sebben complicates things when he falls in love with Birdgirl, as he doesn't realize it's his daughter.

  • Harvey Birdman has always obtained his power from the sun, though it is the crest on his helmet that permits him to gain the full benefits of the solar rays. However, when X the Eliminator manages to steal his crest, Harvey begins to fall apart, which causes his client's defense to fall into jeopardy. Meanwhile, X uses his newfound crest to turn his life into a direction he could have never expected, in which he becomes a world famous celebrity.

  • Harvey finds himself at the opposite end of justice when he is sued by one of his former archenemies, as they claim they've acquired injuries during a fight with him in the past. However, then the lawsuit turns into a class action lawsuit, Harvey must get his colleague, Potamus, to take over his defense in hopes of getting away from his predicament without being found guilty.
