Charlie Harper is a womanizer and has a lavish lifestyle. He lives in a house overlooking the Malibu beach with his brother Alan, who is divorced and has a son named Jake. In season 5 episode 12 titled "A Little Clammy and None Too Fresh," Charlie takes his fiancée Chelsea to a fancy restaurant to celebrate their upcoming wedding. However, things do not go as planned when Chelsea orders seafood and ends up getting sick.
