Ep 3. The Big Test

The Big Test is the third episode of season two of Tyler Perry's House of Payne. The episode revolves around Calvin, who is applying for a new position as a technician at a local cable company. Although he is confident in his skills, he is nervous about taking the required test to qualify for the position, as he has struggled with standardized tests in the past.

Meanwhile, Miranda is busy planning their upcoming wedding and is stressed out about all the details. She tries to enlist the help of the family, but they are all busy with their own problems. Curtis is dealing with a kidney stone, and Ella is dealing with her new job as a nurse's aide at a retirement home. Janine is busy with her kids, and CJ is trying to keep his bar business afloat.

As Calvin studies for his test, he becomes increasingly anxious, and even resorts to taking some questionable pills to help him focus. However, when he finally takes the test, it doesn't go as planned, and he is forced to face the consequences of his actions.

Meanwhile, Miranda's stress reaches a boiling point, and Curtis offers to take over the wedding planning. However, his methods are unorthodox, and he starts to drive Miranda crazy with his suggestions.

As the episode progresses, the family comes together to support Calvin and Miranda, and they all learn valuable lessons about the importance of hard work and perseverance. In the end, Calvin is able to pass his test without any shortcuts, and Miranda learns to let go of her need for control and trust in her family.
