Ep 3. Heart's Desire

Elizabeth is busy preparing for the Founder's Day Festival, which is crucial for the town's morale. However, her focus on the event might cloud her judgment when it comes to the newcomers – two wealthy men who have different agendas. While one of them is looking to invest in the town and construct a railroad, the other one is only interested in personal gain. At the same time, Jack is tasked with finding a missing consignment of explosives, which puts extra pressure on him as this is potentially a dangerous situation. Meanwhile, Abigail faces a difficult time when her daughter-in-law arrives in town and her arrival causes some friction, leading Abigail to re-evaluate their relationship. As the episode progresses, we see relationships tested and intrigue building as characters begin to reveal their true desires.
